The 80GHz radar level sensor is a level measurement device designed for various mediums in tanks, container, silos. The sensor operates on the principle of frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) technology. It supports 4-wire and 2-wire signal output applications. The series of instrument use high-quality materials and encapsulated electronics, can measure precisely under high temperatures or high pressure as well as in the applications with dust, hot steam or extreme noise.
Industrial Process Control: Applied in fields such as food processing, chemicals, petrochemicals, and mining to monitor and control the level changes in containers, tanks, and pools during industrial processes.
Environmental Monitoring: Used in monitoring changes in water levels of reservoirs, lakes, and rivers, as well as changes in natural environments such as mountains and soil.
Water Treatment: Employed in water treatment plants and sewage treatment plants to monitor and control the liquid level changes in water tanks, sedimentation tanks, reactors, and other equipment.
Warehousing and Logistics Industry: Used to monitor the height of stacked goods and the remaining material in containers, providing accurate and reliable level monitoring and control, and helping various industries improve production efficiency and safety.
The 80G FMCW radar level sensor is a reliable, precise, and highly adaptable measurement device. By utilizing radar technology to achieve non-contact measurement and providing real-time information on material height or volume, it has a wide range of applications.
The 80GHz radar level sensor emits a high-frequency FM radar signal, and the frequency of the radar signal increases linearly based on the principle of FMCW technology. The transmitted radar signal is received by the same antenna after being reflected by the measured medium. At the same moment, the frequency difference between the frequency of the transmitted signal and the frequency of the received signal is proportional to the measured distance. On the principle fast Fourier transform (FFT), the collected frequency difference signal is transformed to the spectrum of the reflected echo, and the level of the material measured is calculated based on this spectrum.
